The STIGA SBC 242 brushcutter features a 42.7 cc 2-stroke engine with a power output of 1.25 kW and a cutting width of 45 cm. It is comfortable to use thanks to the ergonomic single (loop) handle, the included double shoulder strap, and its compact and balanced structure. It comes with a 3-tooth metal blade and a "Tap and Go" dual line head that allows for immediate line release with a simple press of the head against the ground. The air filter cover opens easily with a dedicated knob for quick cleaning and maintenance of the air filter. The forced transmission provides greater robustness to the machine and reduces vibrations, making it suitable for intensive work. It features an easy pull-start system. The tank holds 1 liter of gasoline. The carburetor has a butterfly valve and the coil is digital. The choke (air) is manual with automatic return. Dimensions are 1890mm x 385mm x 310mm, weight 8kg.
