Soluble concentrate against weeds, mosses, and algae. FINALSAN ULTIMA is a non-selective contact leaf herbicide based on maleic hydrazide and pelargonic acid. It is effective against a wide range of annual and perennial monocot and dicot weeds such as dandelion (Taraxacum officinale), plantain (Plantago maior), Poa spp., Lamium sp., Stellaria media, thistle (Cirsium arvense), Polygonum aviculare, mosses, and algae. The action of FINALSAN ULTIMA is particularly effective against young and actively growing weeds. It is non-selective, and therefore, during treatments, it is necessary to avoid contact with neighboring crops. FINALSAN ULTIMA is not harmful to earthworms, beneficial mites (Typhlodromus pyri), and bees. The product is used for controlling weeds, algae, and mosses in private parks and home gardens (flower beds, paths, borders, stone arrangements, hedges, lawns, and meadows in general) and for weeding flowering and ornamental plants grown there. At room temperature, Pelargonic Acid appears as a colorless oily liquid with a faint waxy odor. It is found in nature in Pelargonium plants, belonging to the Geraniaceae family, from which it takes its common name, and in other plant extracts.
