ZenTrap emits a UV LED light with a wavelength between 360 and 400 nm (nanometers) that is highly attractive to mosquitoes active during the evening and nighttime, as well as to sandflies. Common mosquitoes and other flying insects active during the evening and nighttime are attracted to the light and approach the device, where they are sucked in by the fan and trapped in the collection basket through the funnel.
