Description

Auto-darkening helmet mask HELMET 2000 E adjustable din 9/10/11/12/13

This mask is designed to protect the eyes and face from sparks, welding splashes, and potential harmful radiation during normal welding operations. The helmet automatically changes the filter from a transparent state to a darkened state as soon as the arc is ignited, and returns to the transparent state when the arc is extinguished. Once worn, the protection level must be adjusted using the knob located on the side of the helmet (value from 9 to 13), the most appropriate for the type of welding being performed. Comfortable mask, it facilitates work with its downward balance. This product uses high-efficiency solar cells and has two 3V lithium batteries inside. They do not need to be replaced except after several years of use. The product complies with DIN, ISO, EN standards as well as ANSI Z 87.1-1989 standard.

Before welding

  • Check the filter on the front and ensure it is perfectly clean, and that no dust or other material covers the two sensors located immediately below the solar lens. Also, verify that the entire filter is securely fixed in its place.

  • Inspect all usable parts and ensure everything is in order. Any damaged parts must be removed and replaced with intact parts. This will prevent risks of personal injury and keep your helmet in perfect condition for a long time.

  • Check that the filter is well secured and that no light passes through gaps.

  • Adjust the headrest accurately, ensuring it rests on the head, and adjust the closing and opening angle of the helmet using the adjustment lever.
