Terms and conditions

Shipping and delivery times, transport costs, and right of withdrawal

 

1) Orders from Italy.

For every order placed on www.calzolarire.it, Elettromeccanica Calzolari srl issues an invoice at the end of the month. We deliver via TNT or GLS courier directly to your home.

 

2) Free shipping

For orders placed in Italy (excluding islands), the shipping cost is 11.00 Euro including VAT for orders under 149 Euro and free for orders over 149 Euro.
For islands, Calabria, La Spezia, and Lucca, the shipping cost is 20 Euro including VAT for orders under 149 Euro and 60 Euro for orders over 1000 Euro.
For international orders, the shipping cost is 40 Euro including VAT for orders up to 1000 Euro and 80 Euro for orders over 1000 Euro.

 

2) Shipping to PO boxes and/or general delivery is not possible.

The goods will be delivered in the original manufacturer's packaging.
The customer is requested to check the packaging and make a 'reservation' with the courier if it is not intact, stating 'package arrived open' or 'damaged package'. If the customer waives their rights with the courier, they will not receive compensation from us for the damaged item.
Normally, incoming orders are processed and shipped within 24 hours.
Our shipping partner delivers the ordered goods within 24/48 hours in the national territory.
Delivery times are extended by 1 or 2 days if delivery is to remote areas or islands.
To avoid delays in delivery, our shipping partner requires a phone number and the address provided must be attended.
The goods remain the property of Elettromeccanica Calzolari srl until full payment is received.

 

3) Delivery delay and unavailability of goods.

In exceptional cases, a delay in delivery may occur, meaning the desired goods are no longer available.
In such cases, the customer will be contacted immediately for further arrangements.

 

4) Returns and right of withdrawal.

Return at the customer's expense. Return period 30 days. Batteries are excluded from returns.
However, a reason from you would help us evaluate our performance and optimize our offer.
The period for terminating the contract starts from the day of delivery of the goods. It is important to send a written communication via post or email (info@calzolarire.it) or by returning the ordered goods to Elettromeccanica Calzolari srl, via della Costituzione 162, 42042 Fabbrico RE. After sending the contract termination, you are committed to returning the goods to Elettromeccanica Calzolari srl.
Important: The customer must bear the return costs. It is not possible to return or exchange goods if they have been custom-made or clearly personalized (e.g., goods sold by the meter, custom assembly or cutting, etc.),
- or if, by nature, they cannot be returned or if they risk being quickly deteriorated or altered,
- if their condition or quality has been affected by the consumer (e.g., dirty or damaged items, etc.).
Please do not remove the labels from the items (manufacturer's label and original cartons, etc.) until you have definitively decided to keep the item.

In case of contract termination, we can only accept items that are in their original condition.

 

5) Damages during delivery

The law regarding relationships between senders, couriers, and recipients of goods does not allow for damage claims caused during transport unless a specific and detailed reservation is made to the carrier at the time of receiving the material.

Therefore, upon receiving our shipments, it is the customer's responsibility

 

  1. To check the number of packages, and if it does not match the number indicated on the Delivery Document, note any missing package with the courier. In the absence of annotation, the delivery is to be considered as fully executed according to what is reported in the Delivery Document

  2. To carefully check the integrity of the packages before any manipulation and, before signing for receipt, in the presence of any external damage, tampering, or breakage, write on the courier's delivery note (keeping a copy for yourself), or on the carrier's handheld device, the exact condition in which the packages were delivered, describing in detail the nature and type of any visible and contestable damage. At the same time, please take photos to document the damage caused by the courier

  3. To verify the presence of pallets on our transport documents and check their actual delivery. If not delivered, the absence of pallets must be reported as an anomaly and as per the instructions above

 

If the driver refuses to accept the reservation, please contact us immediately.

Please note that often drivers equipped with handheld terminals:

 

  1. Tend to insert a generic reservation indicating "INTEGRAL MATERIAL RESERVE" or similar wording. This option must be strictly refused

  2. Temporarily insert the reservation on the terminal and then delete it later. Therefore, we strongly recommend taking a photo of the terminal display to document the actual insertion of the reservation as requested.

 

We remind you that without the proper reservation, or with generic and undocumented reservations, we will be unable to initiate a damage compensation claim

 

6) Jurisdiction
For any disputes arising between the parties regarding these Sales Conditions of Calzolari Elettromeccanica, including disputes related to the interpretation, execution, and validity thereof, the exclusive jurisdiction will be that of Reggio Emilia.
